Surf the flux

Every Frame rides a board. Catch streams and swells, chain tricks, grinds and manuals, and use the flux's lift to outrun anything with a thruster. The flux remembers where you've been.

REFIT: build a Frame from other Frames' parts

October 20, 2026 · Hangar

The hangar's new REFIT tab lets you take a core, head, arms, legs and pack from any of the hand-made Frames and put them together. Its numbers come from its parts, and its weight has to suit its legs: the first custom build came in at 32.7 t on legs rated for 30.0 t, so it loses top speed and turn until it slims down.

The hangar bench: build your own board

October 20, 2026 · Hangar

The hangar has a new BENCH tab. Spend salvage to build a board, roll its shape, and lock the parts you like. How a board handles now comes from its measured shape: nine of its ten handling numbers follow from the hull you build.

  • Shortboard and Wing rebuilt on the new rules.
  • A 75-cell forge grid for deck shapes.
  • Next up: REFIT, the same treatment for whole Frames.

Melee gets fun: board brawls and sky tackles

October 20, 2026 · Combat

Close fights got three new layers. Board Brawl lets you strike while you ride. Sky Tackle throws your whole Frame into an enemy in the air. And at people scale, a Frame can kneel and strike pilots on the ground.

New HUD, menus and a cockpit for every Frame

October 19, 2026 · Interface

Four pushes in one day: a fight HUD with your wing and radar, an on-foot HUD, new menus and a dressed hangar bay, and a cockpit pod built for each Frame.

  • Corvid's pod has a helm brow arch and gold inlay; Revenant's has ribs with red veins.
  • Zenith's canopy ribs glow in its own light. Brutus gets a bunker roof and a periscope.
  • The hangar roster now shows every Frame as a doll, with hardpoint lines to its kit.

The world fills in: forests and the sea

October 19, 2026 · World

The map's blank stretches are getting built out. Forests and root spires grow over the land, and the sea now has reefs and ruins under the swell.

LIFTLINE goes to war

October 17, 2026 · Announcement

LIFTLINE is now a large-scale battle game. Sky Conquest pits 12 Frames a side against each other over five bases, with battle points to spend on hero aces and a flagship over each side's HQ that you can shoot to pieces or land on.

Stats are relative to the Medium (1.00); CUSTOM shows its build on its board. Hero aces cost battle points to deploy, one a side at a time. Build your own from any Frame’s parts in the hangar’s REFIT tab.

The War

Open world mode
BLUEHAVEN COMBINEThe west · capital Bluehaven
VS
IRONHOLD FOUNDRIESThe east · capital Ironhold

Every place is a prize

  • Two sides fight over the whole 32 km map. Every town, fort, dock, mine, farm and mill is a holding.
  • Holdings link along a lattice. You can only take ground along the links, and cut-off pockets starve.
  • Win by taking it all, or by breaking the enemy: its capital taken and its war supply gone.
  • Each side's commander sends forces after what it needs. Battles start wherever they meet.

You're one pilot in it

  • Fight in your Frame, on foot, in a ground unit, or ride a carrier in.
  • Take a town's console, sink a carrier, cut a supply run, get a downed pilot out.
  • Supply runs, raids, carriers and dropships all move the front.
  • Earn rank as you fight:
CADET ▸ … ▸ COMMANDER

Features

  • Skysurfing combat. Streams, swells, tricks, grinds and manuals, all while you shoot.
  • Frames with a mind. Your Frame's co-pilot learns how you fly and can take the board or the gun.
  • Out of the cockpit. Eject, fight on foot, climb enemy Frames and sabotage flagships.
  • Battlefront-style battles. Tickets, five bases, battle points and hero aces.
  • Flagships. The Haven Lance and the Foundry Dart, with turrets, engines and hangar bays.
  • Generated loot. Guns rolled by body and rarity; salvage, gadgets and a stash.
  • Build your gear. Boards from salvage on the hangar bench, handling from their shape.
  • A living sky. Golden hour, dusk and night, with lit windows and city neon.
